Case study
Chargezoom
A website refresh designed to create a warmer, more welcoming experience for bookkeepers and accounts receivable teams.
Overview
Chargezoom is a rising name in the fintech space, offering automated billing solutions that streamline payments for businesses. As the industry becomes increasingly competitive, Chargezoom knew it wasn’t enough to just work well—they needed to look and feel like the forward-thinking partner they are. Their original website, while functional, was hard to manage and didn't quite capture the warmth or clarity that would resonate with their target audience—finance teams seeking simplicity in a complex world.

The Challenge
[Chargezoom](http://chargezoom.com) came to us with two connected problems: Their **website’s CMS was cumbersome**, making routine updates feel like pulling teeth. Their **brand felt a bit cold**—visually clean but emotionally distant, lacking the friendliness and approachability their team brings to the table daily. They weren’t just looking for a facelift. They wanted a brand and platform that felt alive, flexible, and magnetic—something their marketing team could run with, and their customers could fall in love with.

Our approach
We kicked off with a clear strategy: rebuild their site in Webflow to give them full control over updates and empower their team to make fast, frictionless changes. At the same time, we dove into their visual language to create something more welcoming and human. ✏️ **Brand Refresh with Purpose** We introduced a custom illustration style that brought warmth and clarity to their content. These weren’t generic icons—each illustration was crafted to support specific messages and help demystify their platform’s complex features. 🛠️ **Webflow Build for the Win** [Webflow](http://underbelly.is/all-about/webflow-websites?utm%5Fsource=webflow&utm%5Fmedium=partner%5F%5Fprogram&utm%5Fcampaign=enterprise%5Fwebsite) was our platform of choice for one big reason: flexibility. It gave Chargezoom’s team the tools they needed to own their content without calling in a dev every time they wanted to swap out a line of copy or launch a new page. 💡 **Collaborating in Real-Time** Throughout the build, we partnered closely with the Chargezoom team. From candid photo tweaks (switching black-and-white portraits to full-color for a more personable feel) to iterating on playful loading animations (yes, the animated logo made the cut!), it was a true back-and-forth. We even leveraged AI tools for ideation and exploration, including using ChatGPT to help brainstorm missing copy during initial rounds. Action items were shared, tackled, and celebrated—from animation updates to final copy handoff.

The outcome
Chargezoom’s new site isn’t just visually sharper—it’s structurally smarter. **Webflow CMS** now allows for easy updates across pages and sections. * **Custom illustrations** and brand accents humanize their offering and clarify their value. * **Improved UX** guides users more smoothly to the features and resources they need. * **Post-launch support** caught and fixed 404s, refreshed demo links, and tied up redirects neatly—ensuring a polished, glitch-free experience for users. Chargezoom’s internal team reported feeling more empowered and confident. The brand now reflects who they are—not just what they offer. And their digital home finally feels like it’s keeping pace with their innovation.
